I love my high heeled shoes! I have a closet full of uncomfortable but ultra cute shoes. My husband is always telling me to stop wearing them and go with something more functional. We always joke that I am more about fashion than function.
Sadly for the past year my beloved shoes have sat quietly locked behind my closet door. My new job required that (other than walking into or out of the building) I wear stark white plain tennis shoes, outside shoes, heels and open toes shoes are expressly forbidden. I know BORING!!!!!
For Christmas, my sister-in-law presented my husband and I with tickets to a fancy New Years Eve party. So, for the first time in 12 years, my husband and I went out for New Years this year. We got all gussied up went to a fantastic party and danced the night away. As the night went on, my feet started killing me since I was out of practice wearing fancy high heels.
