Summer is almost here! I am so excited and can not wait for the sun to arrive.  When I was younger, I was not too concerned with sun protection (Sunscreen was a four letter word in my house).  I spent countless hours in the sun with little to no sunscreen usage, I didn't cover up with SPF clothing and I didn't protect my scalp from sun damage with a hat.  I did wear sunglasses but mostly for fashion reasons.

We have not had much sun yet but with a pending beach trip on the horizon, I already have my new hat in the packing pile.  I do have to keep chasing it down since my daughter keeps swiping is as hers and wearing it with her dress up clothes.  The hat fit comfortably and the wide brim is a great for full protection coverage for my face, ears and of course my scalp.  

 The Tres Jolie hat is lightweight and I love that it can be packed into a tiny space and will pop back into shape when unpacked.  Making it a perfect hat for traveling.
