Freschetta Proud to Support Pink Review and Giveaway

October is National Breast Cancer awareness month and Freschetta is joining the cause by introducing the Freschetta Proud To Support Pink Program.

About Proud To Support Pink
The program runs from September 25th-October 31st.  Any time your purchase a specially marked-package of Freschetta pizzas and Artisan Pizza Crusts you will be helping the, reach their goal of a $50,000 donation to the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.  Specially marked packages are printed with codes that you can enter at www.ProudToSupportPink.com.  For each code entry, the makers of Freschetta products will donate $1 to the center to support breast cancer research, up to $50,000.

At www.ProudToSupportPink.com, you can also share your breast cancer journey or the journey of a friend or loved one.  Stories will be displayed at www.ProudToSupportPink.com and on their facebook page to inspire all those who read them.

Freschetta is giving away 50 pink iPod shuffle players each week in October as part of the giveaway on the site to encourage participation and sharing of this program.  Additionally, 50 pink iPod shuffle players will be donated each week in October to four cancer centers around America to be enjoyed by breast cancer patients during treatments.

I love when companies contribute back to the community and help good causes.  I also think that their pizza is very tasty and made with quality ingredients.  We are big pizza eaters at our house.  We have pizza at least twice a month.  We usually go with delivery but find the rising prices to be a bit much so we have been trying out a few different frozen brands.  The Freschetta pizzas are yummy, the crust is not hard like some that I have tried and it is made with real cheese and quality toppings.  The cost is so affordable, that we can purchase every one's favorite combination.
