As an active mom based on Canada’s wet and rugged West Coast, Lisa discovered that finding warm footwear for her young kids was near impossible.  Lisa’s favorite quote is “There is no such thing as bad weather; only inappropriate clothing.”  After attempting to keep her son's legs warm by  wrapping scarves around them, she decided there had to be a better way.  She teamed up with another mom and together they created the Stonz Booties.

How adorable are these?  We received the Mustard Crown booties and Sherpa fleece linerz.

Living in the Pacific Northwest, I know Lisa's pain of finding appropriate footwear, especially now that Wiggle Bean is up and running walking around.  The non-skid bottom is a must with Wiggle, we have tile and hardwood floors all over the house.  Of course it was 60 and sunny this weekend so I could not take her picture out in the rain.  I intentionally ordered them a little large so that she could wear them with or without shoes and the linerz (which are so soft and snugly!), you just cinch them up around the ankle and calf and you are good to go.  With their generous size, she should be able to wear these for some time. 

While they are not waterproof, the coated nylon exterior fabric makes them rain repellent and wind resistant. If your feet get wet, just turn the booties inside out, toss them in the dryer and in a few minutes you are good to go!  Both the linerz and the booties are machine washable, that is a plus!

I know she look a little cranky in this picture but it was not due to the booties, it was because I could not get her to stand still long enough for me to take her picture so I made her sit down. (we call this the stink eye look)
