Review and Giveaway: Rock Rhythm and Rhyme Color Songs CLOSED

I never thought I would be one of "those" parents,  I made a vow that my daughter wouldn't even know about those 4 guys in the colored shirts (you know the ones!) and there is just something about those crazy monster things on Nick Jr. (especially that green one with really long arms).

I made fun of my sister once (probably more than once) when she picked me up one day and was listening to a CD from the Wiggles.  Now since she is a mom, this is not a surprise but her kids were not in the car. 

I made it a year but must confess that I did not turn off the Color Songs CD after dropping Wiggle Bean off at daycare.  I found myself cruising down the freeway singing and bopping my head along to the songs.  My favorite is Black  (B-L-A-C-K spells black).  My Wiggle Bean's other top favorites are Red and Green.  I am not sure what a Pink-A-Saurus is but he sounds really cute, so does the Brown dog.  There are ten song on the Color Songs CD that will have your preschooler (or younger) spelling their colors in no time.

My husband and I try to expose our daughter to as many types of music as possible.  That is one of the things that makes Rock Rhythm and Rhyme's Color Songs such a great CD.  The found a way to incorporate rock, blues and even rap into a fun and educational songs.  

Per the Rock Rhythm and Rhyme website, Color Songs was written and recorded just for

preschoolers but my 1 year old daughter loves it.  While she can not spell any of the colors (yet!), she does smile and clap when I put the CD in.  She may not understand the spelling part but it is never to early to start teaching her.  

The songs are so entertaining that your child will not feeling like they are learning.  They will enjoy the fun upbeat tunes while learning how to spell their colors.
